Emily Procter

 American actress Emily Mallory Procter was born on October 8, 1968. She was Ainsley Hayes in the NBC political drama The West Wing (2000-2002; 2006) and Det. Calleigh Duquesne was a CBS police procedural show called CSI: Miami (2002–2012).



 



 Childhood and early life



 Procter was born on the night of October 8 in 1968. William Procter, an obstetrician, adopted her as an infant . She was also adopted by Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. Procter was raised in Raleigh. She was just three years old when her parents divorced. Whit her older brother, is adopted.



 



 Ravenscroft School was where Procter went to school in Raleigh. While at East Carolina University, Procter became a part of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Procter worked as a anchor on news for WNCT in Greenville, North Carolina. She later graduated with diplomas in dance and journalism.
